A Demat Account is a digital account that holds your shares and securities in electronic form. It eliminates the need for physical share certificates and simplifies online trading and investing.

You can open a Demat Account online by visiting a registered broker's website such as Aditya Trading Solutions (ATS), filling in your KYC details, uploading PAN, Aadhaar, and a cancelled cheque, then completing e-sign verification.

You will need a PAN card, Aadhaar card, a recent passport-size photograph, and a cancelled cheque or bank statement for address verification.

If all documents are verified successfully, your online Demat Account can be activated within 10–15 minutes with ATS.
