Each listed stock on ATS has a main page (share price) and, where the data exists, up to ten sub-pages: price history, technical analysis, pivot points, financial results, balance sheet, cash flow, shareholding pattern, dividend history, news and peer comparison. This page explains where each figure comes from, how it is calculated and how often it changes.

Adjusting prices for splits and bonus issues
Exchange prices are not adjusted when a company splits its shares or issues bonus shares, so a 1:1 bonus halves the quoted price overnight. Before any return, moving average or chart is calculated, earlier prices are adjusted: for a bonus of a new shares for every b held, prices before the ex-date are multiplied by b ÷ (a + b); for a split from face value x to y, by y ÷ x. Volumes are adjusted the other way. Dividends are not adjusted for.
Technical indicators
- Window. Indicators use the adjusted daily closes of the last 365 calendar days, ending on the date shown on the page.
- Simple moving average (SMA). The average of the last n closes, for n = 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200.
- Exponential moving average (EMA). Seeded with the SMA of the first n closes, then EMA = close × k + previous EMA × (1 − k), with k = 2 ÷ (n + 1).
- Price vs average. The close counts as above or below an average when it differs by more than 0.1%; within 0.1% it counts as at the average.
- RSI (14). Relative Strength Index with Wilder smoothing: average gains and losses over 14 sessions, RSI = 100 − 100 ÷ (1 + average gain ÷ average loss).
- MACD (12, 26, 9). The 12-day EMA minus the 26-day EMA; the signal line is a 9-day EMA of the MACD line, and the histogram is their difference.
- ADX (14) and Stochastic (14, 3). Standard Wilder ADX for trend strength, and %K over 14 sessions with a 3-session %D.
- Trend. Short, medium and long-term trend compare the close with its 20, 50 and 200-day SMAs: up if above by more than 0.1%, down if below by more than 0.1%, otherwise sideways.
- Golden and death crosses. The last date the 50-day SMA crossed above (golden) or below (death) the 200-day SMA.
Pivot points
Pivot levels are calculated from the previous period's high (H), low (L) and close (C): the last trading session for daily levels, the last completed Monday–Friday week for weekly levels and the last completed calendar month for monthly levels. The period used is shown on every pivot page.
| Method | Pivot | First resistance / support |
|---|---|---|
| Classic | PP = (H + L + C) ÷ 3 | R1 = 2PP − L, S1 = 2PP − H; R2/S2 = PP ± (H − L); R3 = H + 2(PP − L), S3 = L − 2(H − PP) |
| Fibonacci | PP = (H + L + C) ÷ 3 | PP ± 0.382, 0.618 and 1.000 × (H − L) |
| Camarilla | Close | C ± 1.1 × (H − L) ÷ 12, ÷ 6, ÷ 4 and ÷ 2 for levels 1–4 |
| Woodie | PP = (H + L + 2C) ÷ 4 | R1 = 2PP − L, S1 = 2PP − H; R2/S2 = PP ± (H − L) |
| Central pivot range | Pivot = (H + L + C) ÷ 3 | BC = (H + L) ÷ 2, TC = 2 × pivot − BC; width = |TC − BC| ÷ pivot |
Financial statements and shareholding
- Figures are in ₹ crore, as reported by the company, consolidated where a consolidated statement exists.
- Trailing-twelve-month (TTM) and half-year (H1) columns are labelled as such and are never counted as a financial year in growth figures.
- Year-on-year changes compare a quarter with the same quarter a year earlier; three-year growth is a compound annual rate between financial years.
- Shareholding percentages are as filed for each period. Where a filing does not separate mutual funds from other domestic institutions, the mutual-fund figure is shown as n/a rather than zero.
When a sub-page exists
A sub-page is published only when there is enough data for it to be useful: at least 200 trading sessions for price-based pages, four quarters or three financial years for financial results, three years for the balance sheet and cash flow, two periods of shareholding, one corporate action in ten years for dividends, three news items in 90 days, and three companies in the same industry for peers. Exchange-traded funds have no financial statements, shareholding pattern or industry peers, so those pages are not published for them.
AI-generated summaries
Some stock pages carry a short summary written by an AI model. It is generated only from the structured figures on the page — never from web search — and every number in it is checked against those figures before it is published; a summary that fails the check is discarded. Summaries are labelled as AI-generated, are refreshed when the underlying data changes, and are not investment advice.
